jensen's heart of gold florida chapter provides cash hardship assistance to families of a child with cancer with a current home address in one of the following counties: citrus, sumter, hernando, lake, orange, seminole, brevard, osceola, polk, hillsborough, pasco, pinellas. the family must have a child being followed by a pediatric oncologist for cancer. the florida chapter of jensen's heart of gold foundation was inspired by an amazing little man with a big heart who made a huge impact on everyone he met. jensen had a fire about him that kept us all on our toes and a giving heart that inspires us still today. our family; clint, emily, morgan, and allison, met jensen and the byrd family in 2009. although in a strange place, far away from home, we journeyed to save our kids from a monster called neuroblastoma. over the many months of treatment that jensen and our daughter morgan endured, we became fast friends in that unfamiliar place. we learned to lean on one another for support. t
