jessie’s edit is a sustainable line of botanical illustrations inspired by nature and the unique characteristics of the seasons created by jessie borsellino, a writer, reader, and illustrator based in a small city outside of toronto, canada. each product i design, ranging from stationery to wall art, is carefully curated and intentionally designed - with each piece hand-drawn and printed sustainably on quality paper. in addition to stationery products, i also create custom artwork for small businesses, local entrepreneurs, musicians, and more. to edit; to be an editor edit (verb) ed·it | \ ˈe-dət \ to arrange things into a coherent whole. to cut out and remove things that don’t fit or ad value to the overall narrative. i believe the editing process is what unites all art forms as the process of choosing what elements of a design, a story, a performance, serve the overall purpose of the piece. when i worked as a writer, i would pass along my story to different editors and each
