jewish family service is a 120-year-old non-profit organization providing professional social services of the highest caliber for those with needs throughout our local community. we graciously accept and embrace the concept of helping others help themselves…as has been the role of jewish family service here at home for generations. this work is made possible by an incredibly supportive and generous lay community of donors and volunteers alike. jewish family service’s refugee & immigrant service centers (risc) offer refugees and immigrants culturally sensitive employment programs, english as a second language instruction and related social services. participants are supported and encouraged as they integrate successfully into their new environments.
