our mission jewish family service calgary strengthens the community by helping individuals and families in the spirit of jewish tradition and values. we believe that it does not matter whom we provide service to but how we provide that service and therefore services and programs are offered in the spirit of jewish tradition and values: social justice, compassion, and a commitment to repairing the world. individuals and families coming to jfsc receive holistic care, meaning that all of the clients' issues are addressed simultaneously to the best of the ability of the agency. current programs and services offered by the agency: • financial crisis assistance to individuals and families • kosher food for those in need • jewish holiday and traditions assistance for families in need • newcomer resettlement and integration services • vocational counselling to assist clients find suitable employment • individual and family counselling services • help and resources for individuals and families
