jim scannell & co., was set up in 1987 and since the early days we have witnessed a satisfactory growth in turnover and volume of incoming projects. more importantly we have built up a trusted portfolio of high profile clients. to date we have been involved in a wide range of activities – from the upgrading of a major hotel, to the development of new auto centres and filling stations, housing schemes, public buildings, sports grounds, factories, apartment buildings, conference centres and nursing homes. every job is affected with it’s own peculiarities, challenges and difficulties. the running of a project from a quantity surveyors point of view requires professionalism, practical experience and above all a combination of common sense and putting oneself into the client’s shoes.
