about us jimco sales, inc. was founded in 1968 by james w. hendricks to represent major industrial and petroleum suppliers in the southwest and neighboring states. james p. hendricks stepped in to continue his father’s work in 1976 and has successfully broadened jimco’s territory and customer base. in 1978 james p. hendricks purchased a steel fabrication company, leading to the manufacturing of freestanding steel structures, such as canopies, steel buildings and kiosk buildings. in 1998 jimco expanded its manufacturing capabilities by opening a facility in okeechobee, fl. to better serve the southeast. in 1999 jimco formed an alliance with doug adams sales associates, a respected rep organization in the petroleum industry, building our sales force and customer base, enabling us to serve our product manufacturers more effectively. jimco sales, inc. has a proven combination of an experienced professional sales staff and a well-deserved reputation for reliability which can make jimco the
