my first job, while attending the beaver country day school, was at mrs. field’s cookies, and i have had cookie fever ever since my first day behind the counter. i have always loved salty-sweet combinations and was searching for the perfect cookie. some time ago, i was given a cookie that came close to meeting my salty-sweet craving, but it was missing something. i decided to try and create what i could not find. i hope you will agree that these sweet treats, that i call “munchy madness” cookies, hit the spot.
