jlens provides guidance on impact investing through a jewish lens to institutional investors (foundations, federations, endowments, pensions). areas of focus align with the jewish value of tikkun olam (repair the world) and include environmental preservation, social justice, poverty alleviation, healthcare, education, equality, women/girls, economic development, and place-based investments in a variety of regions including israel. jlens also conducts shareholder advocacy on behalf of jewish communal concerns (social, environmental, and israel) for the jlens us equity index strategy launched august 2015. jlens was selected for the upstart bay area incubator, and the 2015 slingshot list of the most innovative jewish organizations.
