our unique vocal instruction technique is based on the cornelius reid method of vocal training. this method treats the vocal folds like the muscles that they are, using a series of exercises to strengthen them and increase their flexibility — resulting in greater range, stamina, and improved vocal tone. we start by separating your vocal registers, strengthening each separately, then carefully pushing your and your endurance. like any other muscular training regimen, the vocal folds benefit from training hard multiple times per week with periods of rest and recovery between. as students of this technique, we have both found in our own training that switching to twice weekly lessons dramatically increased our rate of improvement. we are located just a mile off highway 89 / main street and only a few miles from utah state university.
