Joatter

in early 2013 two friends were playing tennis in oakland. a group of children quickly gathered around their court. the children began joking with the two about what they were playing. the curiosity was evident so the two went ahead and tried to explain the game. this sport that the two naively assumed was familiar to all was actually quite foreign to these children in their own town. this astounded them. these kids never had the opportunity to play tennis as well as hundreds of other activities other kids have. the fun these children had from their brief interaction with the two friends inspired them to create an outlet for kids to access great opportunities. thus came joatter. joatter is tirelessly working to provide opportunities to underprivileged children. joatter aims to offer a number of outlets of opportunity that children all over the bay area can access. whether it is golf lessons, math tutoring, museum tickets, music lessons or anything else, they are working to get it on joa
