the jobhat concept came about after we struggled to recruit for an existing business. job boards only offered a generic service, around £200 a time for just a two week listing which yielded very few quality cvs. the standard alternative is a recruitment consultant but for a small business or a sole trader looking to take on their first member of staff, paying a fee of 18% - 20% is unaffordable. we searched the market, we couldn't find a service which would filter candidates without costing a small fortune. we are also very aware of the disasters which can occur when a small business recruits the wrong person – in a small company, it can literally result in the end of the business. jobhat therefore aims to address all of these issues by: • charging a minimal upfront listing fee • providing a more personalised service than job boards, including cv matching and searching through our own database for suitable candidates • helping to facilitate interviews • providing advice to empl
