jobs, friends & houses is a social enterprise offering opportunities for ex-offenders and adults in recovery from addiction to access training and meaningful employment, positive peer support, and stable accommodation. our trades team works on renovating properties while training in adult apprenticeships in the construction sector. our lettings team then manages the rental of these units, ensuring tenants have a happy, stable home life. we have a number of unique partnerships to offer wrap-around support to our team members and tenants, including with delphi medical, citizen's advice and lancashire sports partnership. we have the official backing of lancashire constabulary, having been founded by serving officer sgt steve hodgkins in 2014. jobs, friends & houses aims to: - support and sustain recovery - reduce crime and re-offending - improve wellbeing and self-worth - reduce welfare dependency and financial vulnerability - improve housing and the tenant experience
