hello, my name is joel. i’m a freelance director of photography and an occasional director and executive producer. many folks in the industry know me as the founder denver’s creative / production company impossible pictures. based in the mountains of colorado, these days i work wherever interesting work and passion projects take me. over the past 20+ years, i’ve helmed literally thousands of projects by tapping hundreds of collaborators in my network. i am currently accepting assignments for indie films, branded content, commercials and network promos. i would love to hear from you.
