joey pirrone is a designer and fabricator for commercial and residential projects. with decades of experience in the trades from landscaping to carpentry, joey’s passion for practical and functional design is balanced by his penchant for whimsy. joey’s most-loved designs are his custom concrete tops with personal inlays like glowing glass or simple nuts and bolts. joey, along with his wife and photographer amanda pirrone, recently renovated their pine island, florida home in 2019 by themselves. the pirrones have owned several companies over the last two decades, including gulf coast refund consultants (gcrc), to help folks recover financial losses due to the 2010 bp oil spill in the gulf of mexico. together, joey and amanda helped several hundred clients receive nearly 3 million in total settlements over 6 years through their company gcrc. recently, the pirrone’s and their golden-doodle, penny, have relocated to indianapolis, in. they traded their office for a workshop, and today, th
