Jogja SDGS Community

on 28 august 2017, 21 local communities in yogyakarta which have a diverse background of issues have gathered to declare their commitment to form this communication platform by implementing the global goals deeper in their activities. this communication platform called jogja sdgs community initiated by world merit yogyakarta which aims to localize the global goals for there are who already endorse it, by doing their activities but haven't known yet the brief explanation about it. we are working by localizing the global goals to be understood under the local initiative, then can be implemented more simply in their activities. we also using transnational activism and the globalization process to connect these local communities with similar movement outside the country under the global goals understanding. background: even though the global goals is universal by its substance, many of the people do not know how it can be relevance among their life and activities, especially in yogyakarta,
