i am an amateur photographer with a love for life. i capture images of any and everything that tells a story. from a very young age i was interested in art and my grandmother said i could draw before i could talk. my first camera was a hallmark box camera. i was always taken pictures of animals and landscapes. people hardly featured. when i finished school, i started pencil sketches of models from magazines and later taught myself the to paint portraits in watercolor. in 1996 i bought my first decent camera - a minolta but developments of prints and slides were expensive in those days. in 2005 i bought my first digital camera. it almost became the new trend overnight and allowed the digital capturing of images. this allowed me to become more experienced in the use of my camera and the manual selection of aperture, shutter speed and iso. i continually experiment and love trying new ideas.
