in my role as attorney-mediator i mediate a range of legal disputes, ranging from personal injury, breach of contract, real estate, employment discrimination, trade secrets, commercial litigation, and family law. i can boast 39 years experience as trial lawyer, litigator, including many first chair jury trials. i was an adjunct professor at the university of houston law center from 2007-2014 where i taught trial advocacy. i have mediated approximately 500 cases i have extensive training in civil and family law mediations. i am a member of the association of attorney-mediators. in my mediation practice, i facilitate discussions and control the direction of negotiations. i prepare court reports, correspondence, and other documents relevant to specific cases. i have the ability to maintain confidences, exercise sound judgment and discretion, work collaboratively with others and foster effective working relationships with clients, courts, judicial staff, community agencies and the general
