hi, i'm sam johnson, a published and produced writer/director/producer. my great passions in life have always been writing and filmmaking. i graduated harvard with honors in 2007 where i was vice president of the harvard lampoon and i received my mfa at usc's school of cinematic arts in 2009, earning the jack oakie scholarship for comedy screenwriting. i wrote for cartoon network's "drinky crow show" in 2009 and wrote, produced and sold an independent horror film in 2011. i have been writing coverage and script analysis professionally for 6 years for a diverse group of companies (amazon studios, robert downey jr.'s team downey, rko's roseblood horror shingle and startup production company stylopik, among others.) while feature screenplay analysis is my bread and butter, i also have experience in tv pilots and spec scripts, book adaptations, logline and synopsis writing as well as concept outlining. and i teach! my goal is to read scripts of many genres (though i specialize in comedy an
