in 2012 paula and padraig naughton were told their only 3 children, archie, george and isaac have the muscle wasting disease duchenne muscular dystrophy. there is no treatment, there is no cure. join our boys trust was established in 2014 to help raise awareness about duchenne and also to raise funds for research and to support the boys to live as fulfilling a life as possible. the trust has 3 main aims. 1) to raise awareness of duchenne muscular dystrophy, nationally & internationally. 2) to ensure the boys have the resources required to live a life of purpose and dignity despite the extensive physical disability they have. 3) to work in collaboration with the international duchenne community to contribute to translational research projects aiming to develop treatments for duchenne. no one in the trust is paid a salary or expenses. this means that every euro/pound/dollar raised goes directly to meet our aims. archie is now almost 16 years old and as his mother @paula naughton
