join the journey is dedicated to promoting breast cancer awareness and supporting individuals on their breast cancer journey. jtj was founded in 2005. effie psimos & patty allen, breast cancer survivors, & close friend margie loprinzi, came together with the hope of raising awareness of breast cancer in rochester, minnesota. before long, jtj had its first ten-mile breast cancer awareness walk. the community response was tremendous, and participation grows each year. in 2014, nearly 1,000 people participated! jtj has evolved into an established non-profit community organization, which supports programs and projects that uphold its mission of promoting breast cancer awareness and supporting individuals on their breast cancer journey. if you or a loved one has been diagnosed with breast cancer, jtj was created to help you. we will provide you with information, support and fellowship. you are not alone; we are here to help.
