in 2013, after working ten years in the public sector in sweden and at the european commission in brussels i decided to start working as an independent consultant and founded jonathan olsson consulting. i have a master of science in engineering and a university diploma in journalism. a combination that has provided me with deep analytical skills and an ability to explain complex matters clear and comprehensible to a broader public. over the years i have gained knowledge through a variety of different positions and areas of responsibility, spreading from analytical reports and public inquiries to lecturing, media contacts and participation in international working groups and negotiations. as a consultant i am specialised in providing advice, expert knowledge and analysis relating to eu law, focusing on various aspects of coordination of social security and cross-border healthcare, i.e. necessary or planned healthcare received during a temporary stay abroad. my clients include the eu
