Jorge Andrew Gallery

jorge andrew gallery, housed in a converted loft in williamsburg, brooklyn, launched in late 2016 with an avant-garde recital by siobahn sung. since its opening the gallery has served as a channel for information on alternative art spaces, and has developed a series of solo exhibitions featuring rising artists in the nyc scene. in january, the gallery presented a solo exhibition of assemblages by alex markwith, which gained a review in international art magazine. next, the gallery launched a solo exhibition by emma stern, a regarded hyperrealist painter who has had solo shows at numerous underground spaces in the area. currently, the gallery is preparing for two summer exhibitions, including a june show of paintings by nyc native luz angelica fernandez, and a july exhibition by national endowment for the arts grantee donald traver. following this programming, the gallery will shift operations to europe. jorge andrew gallery works to serve as a digitally connected, discerning forum for
