my name is jort nijhuis and i am an independent designer that is driven by concept design: that first vital state of a products’ life. i am fascinated by the story behind the product, its right to exist. i have over seven years of experience in designing concepts in teams for multinationals, that have been developed into products that are on the market today. i am known for employing an integral approach to projects, respecting all stakeholders involved. but in the end, i like to think of myself as an ambassador of the user. i believe that i can visualise every step of the process, to involve the team and create a shared understanding of where we are going.
