my approach to therapy my approach is rooted in gaining a full understanding of past relationships, while working with present emotions and behaviors. my goal in therapy is to help individuals, couples and families cultivate a greater awareness and acceptance of what keeps us from realizing the changes we wish to see in ourselves and in our relationships. by gaining a greater awareness of our own core attachments and identities, and of how we interact with others, we can begin to understand what has kept us from becoming who we truly can be. i will work with you, as parents, individually or as a couple, to become more aware of the fears and hurts that shape you, and how these emotions continue to play out in your life. together, we will help you grow a safer, more accepting and secure connection to yourself, and to those with whom you are in relationship. i am open and affirming to all races, ethnicities, sexual identities and orientations, and look forward to working with you.
