"yoga is a journey." we hear that a lot in the yoga world, and while it can sound cheesy at first. it really is true. the thing is, as i’ve learned in my own practice, it’s not quite complete. because yoga isn’t just any journey, it’s your journey: no two people experience it or grow from it in quite the same way. now, if you’re just starting out with yoga you may not have a very clear picture of where you want to go with it. and if this question hasn’t even occurred to you, don’t worry – you don’t have to plan it out in advance. you also don’t have to worry about being good at it from day 1. about how you’ll look doing it. about what your fellow peers might think. because when we practice together, it’s all about taking the pressure off. you get out of yoga what you put in, and my job is to guide you to discover your own resources, so you can rely on them to keep progressing.
