toy designs must connect immediately. to achieve this we value clarity in design and form and we aim to impart a feeling of vitality into everything we make. it has been said that design is intelligence made visible. this intelligence is something we work to cultivate on a daily basis. we are voracious information seekers. we study not only what’s new in the world of art and design, but delve more deeply into what makes one product a success and another a failure - psychological studies on the effects of color, biological papers on the functions of vision and design, behavioral studies on buying - it’s in our nature to immerse ourselves in what we do. being good at what we do is no accident. we believe that design flourishes in constraint and that challenges always present an opportunity for improvement. we believe in removing excess until a clean, clear, undeniable design emerges. toys are art.
