joshua rice design is a multi-disciplinary design practice founded in 2007. our scope of work varies from interior design, renovation and new construction to the design of furniture, lighting and functional objects. we seek to go beyond short-lived design trends to create spaces that are pure, clean, logical and refined, without being cold or impersonal. we practice the fundamentals of exacting detail with respect for the true beauty and purity of natural materials to create warm, luxurious modernism based on the ideas of subtraction as opposed to decoration. as a parallel to the interior design profession, joshua rice design provides consultation and assistance to clients and investors looking to diversify in the decorative art and design markets. including but not limited to the procurement of rare and important furniture and design, import and export facilitation and as a liaison between client and auction houses and design galleries.
