the journal for interprofessional postgraduate research was developed with the aims of: (1) promoting collaboration between health care professions and within professions that results in research and encourages improvements in practice; (2) providing a high quality peer reviewed journal for interprofessional research; (3) becoming the premier journal for current published research by both experienced and new interprofessional research teams; and (4) encouraging both experienced researchers and doctoral students to conduct research and submit their research to the jipr. the jipr hopes that interprofessional collaboration and research will improve and promote health and wellness in healthcare and patient care. it is hoped that this research will establish best practices and evidence-based practices in interprofessional collaboration, education, and learning. interprofessional collaboration is encouraged between athletic training, audiology, chiropractors, dental hygiene, dentistry, h
