the journal of natural resources and development is part of the international network center for natural resources and development cnrd, which was created to involve different universities of the world in the millennium development goals (mdgs) of the united nations. jnrd comes to be a tool to reach the mdgs. as a scientific and serious journal the jnrd pursuits to be a source of knowledge for transdisciplinary professionals in the area of the natural resources. one of the main goals of the jnrd is to be included in the isi thomson reuters in the shortest time possible, this is why jnrd counts with an international editorial board and its members are well known scientists in their areas. jnrd also looks for international diversity among the contributing authors.
