Journal of Race and Global Social Change
the journal of race and global social change is a new reader-supported peer-review scholarly journal dedicated to the study of race, its social construction, and resistance within the global context. the jrgsc was founded as a space where junior and senior scholars can share and enhance scholarly issues. all of our issues will be published to pdf and accessed on this page beginning in spring 2014. at jrgsc, we recognize that historically, journals have depended on authors being rewarded by their institutions, not by the journal publishers. due to the increasing austerity of state universities, fewer scholars are being rewarded by such institutions, especially in critical race studies. like any other scholarly journal, we don't pay authors. however, unlike open access journals, the authors won't have to pay us to publish. unlike other scholarly journals, we aim to assist and promote our authors. we encourage our readers to support our authors, either financially or by other means. upon
