the joy of jazz is south africa's premier jazz festival. we have been entertaining nations for more than 20 years. the 2022 joy of jazz marks the 23 rd edition of a leading brand on south africa jazz calendar. whilst the festival itself celebrates two decades of brilliance, the dynamic team that makes it possible, t musicman, will be celebrating 33 years of excellence in the industry. to celebrate the auspicious event, a legion of international giants and luminaries of the jazz world, as well as leading lights of south african jazz will descend on johannesburg to celebrate the momentous event. contributing to social cohesion, economic growth and cultural tourism. the event takes place in johannesburg, africa's greatest city, a bold and pulsating metropolis. the people work hard and play hard and they immerse themselves in the finest music at the joy of jazz.
