joy’s angels holistic healing center is a nonprofit organization that serves individuals affected by cancer. we work in concert with the medical community - and strive every day to abolish cancer in all forms. the center focuses on the health and lives of the patients and their caregivers, and their ability to handle stress, their responsibilities, relationships, their beliefs about living and dying while dealing with the disease of cancer. seventeen years ago our founder, joy, an ordained minister, began working as a massage therapist.  while she enjoyed her work very much, her understanding of therapeutic touch as a way to help others grew and expanded. through word of mouth, the remarkable effect of the work on her clients came to the attention of oncology doctors who took a chance on joy.  they could not deny the benefits their patients were experiencing and attesting to after working with joy. these doctors created a permanent place for joy in their practice.  joy worked one-
