hello! my name is angela j. bass. i founded joy visuals in 2014 to spark joy in others with stunning visuals, personable customer service and creative collaboration. through joy visuals, i capture and convey the stories of individuals, businesses and non-profits via full-stack video production and photography. i am a "one-woman band." i'm also a trained multimedia journalist with more than 15 years of experience spanning video, radio and print production; public relations; and web content management. i have produced everything from dance concert videos to psas for the california governor’s office. i hold a master’s in journalism with a concentration in multimedia storytelling from the uc berkeley and a creative writing degree from san francisco state. whether shooting a dance video at the state capitol or photographing professional dancers with the iconic bay bridge as a backdrop, i work to bring my clients' visions to life while sparking absolute joy in the process!
