being driven to achieve is a beautiful blessing; but it often comes with grave costs. so easily, our drive to excel in our work and accomplish our vision, means our care and attention to loved ones, including our self, goes by the wayside. it’s a tragic paradox because a big reason we are driven in business is so we can earn the means to support a beautiful life and take good care of our loved ones. and yet doing so seems to require sacrificing being truly present in those relationships, and truly present inside ourselves. but the real tragedy is that no one ever told us that we don’t have to choose. we are capable of so much more than societal norms teach us to expect. it’s actually natural to have it all: • dynamic, creative productivity and abundance in our business • rich, loving connection in our close relationships • vital energy, peace, and fulfillment down to our soul but we need a different approach. and the key to this different approach, is inner joy. inne
