joyful life church is a house church ministry organization seeking to nurture relationships that demonstrate the love of god, bring the gospel of jesus christ to all people groups, encourage believers to live an unapologetic and transparent christ-centered life, and build up reproducing communities of believers through discipleship and continuous learning. as it is written: for god so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life. – john 3:16 this small house church is currently led by pastors chris and cathy gardner in champlin, minnesota. we seek comfort and assurance — and joy — in a faithful relationship with the lord jesus christ. and joy does not mean feeling good all the time. that’s simply not possible. even for folks who are naturally upbeat and optimistic, it isn’t possible to feel good all the time. to define joy, we have to start somewhere more genuine — and close to scripture. here’s a definition b
