ellen jones has been creating art and beauty for others to enjoy for her whole life. she is an honors graduate from east stroudsburg state university in pa majoring in fine arts. together with her husband ken, they've raised three very creative children and reside in ponte vedra beach, fl. ellen is a christian born in pennsylvania who has created art since the time she could hold a crayon. she paints with passion and bright colors to express the joy that is in her heart. “i take a child like approach to my paintings in that if i like an image, i paint it. i don't worry if i have the skill or how it’s going to come out, i just start doing it and leave the rest up to god.” she founded shades of grace visual arts ministry and bethel gallery located at ponte vedra presbyterian church where she was the director for seven years. during that time, she developed 48 themed exhibits for artists to display their work. the artists also participated in art classes, workshops, open studio and field
