Jpride Baltimore

our mission is to create a welcoming and inclusive model jewish community for lgbtq (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning) individuals, families and allies. in accomplishing this mission, baltimore area lgbtq+ jewish individuals and their families will have rich and meaningful opportunities to fully participate in jewish living and learning. we do this with three projects: 1) managing the neely tal snyder jpride seed grant, an endowment fund under fiduciary sponsorship of the associated. our grants committee taskforce reviews projects three rounds a year proposed by local charitable orgs, with an average award of $500-$1,000. no more than $9,000 is awarded in a calendar year. more: jpride has sought to build bridges and relationships in the baltimore jewish community and this new chapter of micro grants will help empower others to champion jpride’s mission by creating innovation within their smaller and our larger baltimore jewish community. like the image of the s
