the vision of the center for manufacturing support (cms) is to provide leadership for applied engineering education, research, and practice, to promote collaborative manufacturing engineering activities within and beyond the boundaries of jacksonville state university, and to pursue excellence in manufacturing engineering practices to assist regional manufacturers with process improvement initiatives. the mission of the center for manufacturing support is to advance engineering practices in regional industries while providing practical learning experiences for jsu students. the center for manufacturing support provides an avenue for applied research and education in areas of critical importance to manufacturing industries. we endeavor to create an active alliance with industrial and commercial entities with the objective of promoting manufacturing in the northeast alabama region.
