at jtechlab we built our first product this year! posture monitor is an application that helps improve your posture and sitting behavior. it won an award at intel realsense open innovation challenge 2014. it runs in the background with very little interaction and does not require wearing any device or gear. it uses the intel realsense 3d camera to continuously track your posture and sitting periods, and shows gentle, non-intrusive reminders when you start to slouch or have been sitting for too long. it tracks your posture quality and sitting behavior over time and shows them using built-in charts. posture monitor is soon expected to be on the intel's showcase apps list.
