who we are: we are a christ-centered organization set on journeying with the poor the world over. while we do not profess to be a church, we see ourselves as the eckelesia, the collective body in christ, moving by his spirit and with his heart to implement transformational change in communities he sends us to. we view ourselves in a holistic missional context, by providing his truth in word and deed, focusing more on the latter as we demonstrate his nature in actions while we journey with the journey. by this token, we are not church planters, but rather development practioners who are working and walking within a biblical framework. mission: facilitate transformational development in impoverished communities in such as way that inspires others to draw to jesus christ, walk in him to reconcile broken systematic relationships, and utilize economic empowerment methods [cooperative model] as a pathway to a more sustainable future.
