the julia anne kirsch foundation seeks to improve the lives of disabled individuals and their families. the foundation aims to do this through outright grants and also through the support of organizations who support the foundation’s goals. some examples of how we have helped include: • equipment grant - provided specialized equipment to disabled individuals. • education - supported a program through the arc of bergen & passaic designed to help families navigate the system to obtain services and to protect their financial interests. • cooking lessons - provided a series of cooking lessons to disabled adults designed to teach them how to prepare healthy meals. • dance program - provided support to a ballet program at a new jersey school that serves disabled children. • scholarship - established a scholarship at a new jersey high school for a students that is interested in pursuing college studies that will lead to a career in serving the disabled.
