Julie Badin

i am julie badin, a french visual artist living in marseille, south of france. i created this page to share about my artwork but also my inspirations and interesting contents about visual arts. to tell you more about my artwork, it is mainly visual, which means that i am driven by the idea of what could be seen and what can’t be seen. my corpus reflects the complexity of who i am and how i evolve, i like to define it as empirical, influenced and centered. i consider unpredictability, introspection and experience at the very foundation of my creative process. my work feeds on what i live, in this sense, my approach is in line with other artists who question their own history and the origin of their personal concerns. in my case, it is through the notions of origin, representation and belief that i draw inspiration to build my language.
