jump start cultivates creativity, showcases student art, and equips elementary school art programs with the community resources needed for excellence in teaching. jump start is a fundraising company that exists to help fill the gap between current state funding for elementary school art and the actual financial needs of individual art programs at georgia schools. the money raised at a jump start fundraiser is given directly to the host art program to be spent on the materials they need to bring excellent instruction to students. what materials are purchased is left to the discretion of the art teacher at the host school, but could be everything from pencils and erasers to tickets to the local art museum for an inspirational field trip. energy we energize elementary school art students and teachers by planning and executing student art shows at no cost to the school. parents and community members are invited to come support the art program by viewing framed art produced by their
