juristforeningen is the student association at the university of oslo, faculty of law. juristforeningen was established in 1908, first as a union for graduated students, but in the 1920's it started to be a student association only. the association organize most of the social life at faculty of law. every other year the association has a humanitarian act, humak, and every other year their own festival, justivalen. juristforeningen has their own cabaret, and since 1936 we have given out the magazine; stud.jur.. chairman of the student association in 2009 is mette grøvdal.
