according to the world justice project, the u.s. ranks 126th out of 139 countries in accessible and affordable civil justice. "among higher-income countries, and countries in north america and europe, the u.s. ranks dead last. california is no exception: as the state bar’s own 2019 study showed, nearly 70 percent of californians who face a legal problem receive no legal assistance at all. this problem has been termed the access to justice crisis, or more simply, the justice gap". in an effort to reduce the justice gap our team founded juscheckit. our goal is to create the destination for legal issues. to do this, we’ve built a community platform that encourages an open dialogue with legal professionals and users to help someone understand their situation prior to getting direct legal assistance. lawyers can search for posts that align with their practice so they can efficiently target areas where they can provide the most help and potentially capture new clients. we are also develo
