Just Krama

• just krama is a small social start up which works with artisans and weavers alike in rural communities in cambodia to help revive handwoven cotton scarves (krama in khmer) made on traditional looms which are then sold in europe. • each of our scarves have been individually designed in their colour (using the latest pantone) and hand woven by rural women (many of whom are now widowers from the pol pot regime) and weavers with disabilities. • by purchasing the scarves at a fair price, just krama contributes towards improving the way of life of these krama weaving communities. also, and through maintaining this artisan practice, just krama contributes towards the preservation of cambodian cultural heritage.
