we are passionate about helping students think, through a specialised cognitive acceleration program known as thinking science. thinking science includes comprehensive teacher professional learning and a series of 30 'thinking' lessons for year 7 and 8 students. this evidence based program raises the ability of students' ability to think, their aptitude in science, and the skills learned have been shown transfer to other subject areas. in the specialised teacher professional development program that accompanies thinking science, teachers’ learn the specific pedagogy in order to effectively deliver the lessons. it’s all about asking the right questions! we facilitate the formal professional development days and classroom coaching which are essential to the effective implementation of thinking science.
