K-Rae Designs

hi there! my name is kimberly and i’m the creative director here at k-rae designs. i am a proud bundjalung and south sea islander woman that resides on yuggera country here in brisbane - queensland, australia. back in 2015, when i had my first child, i needed a creative outlet whilst being a stay-at-home mum - thus k-rae designs was born. i started out experimenting with ink and brush pens on paper but after purchasing an ipad there really wasn’t any looking back. over the last few years, i’ve really developed my own style of lettering and art. the majority of my work is big and bold - with strong uses of block colours (sorry, i'm not one for shading and texture dahling). i am a one woman band - i do everything from drawing, lettering, designing, replying to dm's and emails, picking up printing, packaging, writing personalised thank you notes, postie runs...you name it! all while juggling #mumlife with 2 small kiddos.
