founded in 1998 by three brothers michal, david and lukas kestl in olomouc, czech republic, k3 sport is currently doing business as helia sport and kouty ski resort. all three brother being former professional skiers, they are now applying their experience in the industry. helia sport is a chain of nine sporting goods stores around the czech republic, specializing in skiing and roller blading. in 2001 helia sport became the main czech distributor of the world's largest ski manufacturing company nordica and largest roller blading company rollerblade. introducing ski innovations and providing superior expertise and customer service to skiers of all levels, helia sport sponsors top czech skiers, such as the top-six olympic finisher ondrej bank. kouty ski resort is a new venture currently being pursued by k3 sport and opening on december 18th, 2010. kouty's mission is to become the first ski resort east of the alps to rival the renown mountain range in both ski experience and customer serv
