ka pai kai rotorua charitable trust makes and sells nutritious delicious school lunches. we are a social enterprise, or in other words, a business set up for social good, not profit. our mission is to make healthy food available to school children at prices that compete with the usual fare of pies and sausage rolls. research shows that a well nourished child does better at school. providing a delicious, nutritious lunch is our small part in supporting the children of rotorua to meet their potential. our kitchen volunteers receive orders from the school each morning and make up the lunches, which are then delivered to the school by volunteer drivers. thanks to the generosity of our volunteers, we don't have to increase the cost of the lunches to cover these costs. donations and sponsorships allow us to further subsidise the cost of our lunches, to make healthy food affordable for even more families. at ka pai kai rotorua we do our best to care for the environment. we compost our food sc
